Day 42- Into Knoxville

Day 42- Into Knoxville

Hello Hello,

We wolk up in the woods behind the gas station and I wanted to pack up quickly so that we could catch a bite to eat. Normally we get small portions at these gas station diners, but this one had huge pancakes and even gave us more food than we ordered (a little upset because they charged us for the food we didn't order, but oh well). The TV in the station was playing CNN and we got to see Mitt Romney's pick for VP.

Kira and I talked politics as we walked into nashville. Stores, Stores, and more Stores, this town was the biggest we had seen in some time. People everywhere and even in the middle of all this bustle we were able to find some fresh spring water. With full bottles we headed toward a luandry mat and on the way we were warned that East Magnolia was a st we should avoid.

Arriving at the mat we did our luandry, charged our devices, and ate ice cream. I forgot some clothes so we ended up having to do and extra load (but at least most of the clothes got a much needed double wash). After all of our clothes were clean we decided it would be wise to start looking for a camp spot.

I have been really suprised at how lucky we have been when it comes to finding good spots. Today was no different, there was an overgrown lot less than a block from the mat. It was rather large and had a lot of trees. We camped in the middle of Knoxville in a less than decent area, but we felt safe even sandwiched between so many houses and surrounded by the sound of sirens. Looking forward to a much earned break.

Woot woo,

Levi
